The Leap Frog Program

Description

The Leap Frog Program is an after-school tutoring and enrichment program that provides a nurturing environment in which “at-risk” first, second, and third grade students can develop and enhance necessary skills for academic success, build productive, ongoing relationships with adults, and improve their self-esteem.

United Way of Oxford-Lafayette County helps support Leap Frog’s after-school tutoring and enrichment program that provides a nurturing environment in which at-risk students in first through third grade can develop and enhance necessary skills for academic success, build productive, ongoing relationships with adults, and improve their self-esteem as they work one-on-one with a trained volunteer tutor.

Volunteer Opportunities: Education and tutoring, arts and crafts, food assistance, fundraising, holiday activities, mentoring, marketing/PR, providing refreshments, research, special projects, sports/recreation and providing transportation.

Standard Hours (Excluding Holidays): 2:30 to 5:30 Monday Through Thursday During the Academic School Year
