Oxford-Lafayette Fuller Center for Housing

Description

The Oxford-Lafayette Fuller Center for Housing works primarily within the limits of Oxford and Lafayette County to construct affordable housing with sponsors and volunteers from the community. Low-income families selected for home ownership contribute at least 500 hours of “sweat equity” and assume all responsibility for mortgages when they take possession of the property. Monthly payments are usually $500 or less and the agency can build handicap access ramps as well as supply smaller-scale assistance through its helping hands program.
